- I am very interested in starting my child in Abba Homeschool. He is supposed to start Kindagarten this September, so I am wanting to order some curriculum this week. I was wondering if you could help in the area of choosing which type of curriculum...what seems to be the most popular for 5 year olds. I understand all kids have different learning styles, but I need help. My son is very visual and gets bored with too much repetition. He loves interaction and hands on learning. Please help. Thanks so much!

Thanks for your interest in ABBA Homeschool Academy. We have an excellent Kindergarten curriculum for visual and hands on learners called "Little Hands to Heaven". It is an easy to implement phonics based curriculum with many hands-on activities. We have just recently added this curriculum and the parents who have used it have been very pleased with it. Along with the curriculum, you'll also receive the Living Books and ABBA Project Boxes which look like treasure boxes. Each ABBA Project Box has a theme and contains a Teachers Guide, Student Activity Guide, a book related to the subject and all the materials needed to complete the activities. In addition, your child will also receive our ABBA Imagination Station.

We offer the Active Learning Series for children ages one through five. These books are geared towards specific ideas and guidelines designed to prepare your child for grade school. They provide teaching in physical development, communication, reading, writing, drama, arts, and much more.

Do you offer a formal pre-school program?
We have an exciting, creative pre-school program designed specifically for ages three, four, and five. It includes coordination development skills, gross and fine motor skills, an excellent phonics approach to letter sounds, stories, songs, and crafts. It comes complete with display letter cards, a song tape, four detailed teacher's manuals that explain what to do every day in a step by step format, and a complete set of student workbooks that are fun and colorful. When your child finishes this reading readiness program, he will be blending basic letters and be prepared to learn to read. We follow this program with a phonetic reading program that will have students reading on the third grade level upon completion.
