Homeschooling in a foreign country     List of Categories

  • We live in a foreign country. Can we still use your program?

Absolutely! We offer the same complete program to international students. However, the method of reporting grades, the personal help, and shipping costs vary. We will provide e-mail correspondence for reporting grades, tuition payments, and questions. We will determine shipping costs by the address, weight, and size of your package so you will only be charged what our shipper charges us.

  • I'm from Indonesia and I'm very interested to join your program. But, it seems that in Indonesia homeschooling is not very popular. In fact, I've never met anyone in my country who have underwent homeschooling. Can you please inform me whether there is anyone from my country who joined your school so that I can contact and talk to him/her about the experience of homeschooling. Thank you.

Thank you for your interest in ABBA Homeschool Academy. I am Connie Wollenhaupt, the Academic Director here at ABBA. We have helped many people begin homeschooling who have never done it before. We guide first time homeschoolers step by step as they begin homeschooling. Our goal is to make homeschooling as easy as possible for the parents and to provide the ongoing support they need as they homeschool. Right now we don't have anyone enrolled from your country, however, I will look for a contact for you. If you want to send me your phone number, I would be happy to give you a call and help answer any questions you have regarding homeschooling. I am also sending you our ABBA Parent Training Guide that might help answer some of your questions regarding homeschooling. Research has shown that home schoolers score in the upper 20% on testing in the United States. This is far above the national average. Home schooling has proven to be so successful that there are now millions of home schoolers in the United States and millions more around the world. Homeschooling is now the fastest growing segment of education in the United States today. Colleges actively recruit homeschoolers and give them scholarships. ABBA Homeschool Academy is fully accredited by the National Association of Private Schools. So if you enrolled your child in our academy, your child would be enrolled in a fully accredited private school. This would mean that when they graduated from high school with us, they would receive an accredited High School Diploma. This would probably help them tremendously when they go to college or get a job. In the United States, having an accredited High School Diploma helps students get accepted into colleges easier and it also helps them get jobs. Please let me know if you would like for me to give you a call, or if you would like to call me, our number is (620) 223-3434. We'll take the time zone difference into consideration before we call, of course! God Bless You, Connie Wollenhaupt, Academic Director ABBA Homeschool Academy
