I have another question for you before we make our final decision on the curriculum choices. Regarding the electives, if my daughter of 13 takes them now, do they go towards her high school requirements, or does she have to take a certain number of them when she is in the higher grades again?
Yes, any electives that your daughter takes will count toward her high school elective requirements as long as the electives she chooses are at the high school level. We do have some elementary electives that wouldn't count for high school credit, but it will clearly state the grade level of the electives. We do offer our high school students two electives every year of Bible and Physical Education at no additional cost. This meets the elective requirements for most states. There are several states that do require 1 year of Foreign Language.
